Different steps in the automatic car wash
- Pre-washing stage: Different types of car wash machines have different setups. The conveyer belt that moves the car front and back is responsible for all the washing. The pre-washing stage sprays high pressure water on the car and removes all the dirt, mud and debris as much as it can. Then the shampoo is sprayed on from each angle with multiple sets of nozzles.
- Brushing or cleansing stage: At this point, the car remains at a single spot and the moving large-sized brushes and bristles come in from the top, the sides and the back and scrub off the shampoo, trying to remove the dirt. The brushes may seem harsh but when they come in contact with the water and shampoo, soften. They work like a charm in removing the grease stains, the dirt and the mud.
- The Wheels or tyres cleaned: The wheels or the tyres of the car also get hosed down, in some of the machines. The high-pressure nozzles swiftly wash the tyres.
- The Rinse: After the washing and cleaning part is done, the clean water is poured onto the car, again in the pressure of about 20 bars, so as to remove all the lather of the shampoo. This enables the car to be cleaned properly and even the dirt that was removed in the pre-washing stage gets sprayed down at this stage.
- The Drying: Many automatic car washing machines have the drying option. As many car enthusiasts believe it is wrong to let the car air dry. The drying stage makes the conveyer move forward and backwards, while the dryer, dries the car within a couple of minutes.
Many car washing outlets who have the automatic machines, design some way to recycle the water or use the used water to be led down to a field nearby or a flower bed. The automatic car washer can really pose as a good investment.
